Family and friends of our residents are welcome to visit as often as they wish. They are invited to attend regular care review meetings and to come to the social functions that are arranged for our residents throughout their stay.
Holywell Nursing Home is a family owned and run nursing home located in the village of Brent Knoll in Somerset. We offer medium to long term nursing care, and also have a bookable respite care service with accommodation in a dedicated respite bed room. See our About Us page for more details.
Constructed over two floors, Holywell Nursing Home has undergone many developments over the years in order to meet the changes in legislation, and to continually improve the service we can offer our residents. We appreciate that selecting a nursing home can be a stressful time, but we are here to help. Please feel free to contact us by using one of the methods on our Contact page. We can then arrange for you to visit Holywell and see for yourself the level of care and support we offer, and view our facilities. For how to find us please refer to our Directions page.

The Owner and Registered Provider, Sarah Joyce, outlines to those considering the move to a nursing home, what Holywell is all about: “I have always held a very clear belief that by providing the best possible quality of care for all our residents, they will feel safe and valued. I have been manager here for 30 years and have always strived to make Holywell your home so that you can feel you are treated and respected as an individual. This can only happen with the support of our team of skilled staff in all departments. I invite family to be involved as much as you wish in your day to day life at Holywell. I firmly believe that you must be given the opportunity to decide how to spend your day, and that our staff are here to help you feel at home, and satisfied with what is happening.
